Monday to Thursday, counted over the full timetable at one reference station on each line. A 4 means one departure every fifteen minutes in each direction. On lines with branches, the outer sections have fewer.

A day on the network

There is no single timetable: every line has its own. The first departures on the network are on Line 1, at around 04:40; Line 8, a short tram line serving the port, does not start until 07:37 from Monday to Thursday and 09:18 on Sunday. From Monday to Thursday and on Sunday the network closes down between 23:00 and 00:30. On Friday and Saturday nights service runs later: there are trains and trams until after 03:00.

On Sundays and public holidays service starts later —at around 06:30— and runs less often. There is no all-night service on any night of the week.

What this timetable is not

Not live informationThe times on this website are those of the published timetable of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana, downloaded from its own official file. FGV publishes no real-time data feed, and the "arrival times" box on its website returns exactly these same times: we checked by comparing them minute by minute. Nobody, neither FGV nor us, is telling you where the train is right now. If there is a disruption, check metrovalencia.es.
How long it is valid: FGV's timetable file is a rolling window, and the one we use here covers from 20 October to 27 December 2026. We publish no times beyond that date, because the operator has not published them yet.

Frequently asked questions

Depending on the line, between 04:40 and 07:37 from Monday to Thursday. The exact time for each station and direction is on its page.
On Friday and Saturday service runs on into the early hours: the last run on the network is timetabled after 03:00. That is the only “night” service there is, and it is not continuous: between that last run and the first one in the morning the network is closed.
Yes: the official timetable treats public holidays the same as Sundays. The timetable calendar also has three days with no service recorded at all (7, 24 and 25 December 2026); for those days we publish no times rather than guess them.
