What FGV does not list hereFGV's list of stations does not include Line 5 and Line 7 among the lines of this station, and the line page does not include it either. The official timetable does have services of these lines that stop here — only a few a day (11 on L5 and 10 on L7 on the busiest day), almost all at the start or the end of the day. The times in the table are the published timetable, but they are not a regular service of those lines: to plan a journey, count on the lines that FGV does list at this station, which are the ones the route planner uses.

Benimaclet works as two stations fitted into one: upstairs, at street level, the tram terminal, with two tracks and a platform on each side; downstairs, the metro station, on two half-levels, with the entrances and ticket sales on the upper one and the platforms on the lower. Each part has its own date: the surface section opened on 21 May 1994 and the underground one on 5 May 1995, with Line 3.

It is one of the four stations that FGV counts twice in its figures, because it has two numbers attached to different platforms. Before all this there was another Benimaclet station, on the line from Pont de Fusta to the Grao, closed in 1990 because it was falling into ruin; it stood where Vicente ZaragozáES is today. Line 6 began serving it on 27 September 2007 and Line 9 in 2015.

Frequently asked questions

Because it has two numbers attached to different sets of platforms, the surface one and the underground one, and the operator counts them as two network facilities. The same applies to Àngel Guimerà, Empalme and Marítim, which is why the official station count is four higher than the number of unique stations.
